 Safe removal of string algae; works on contact

Reliably eliminates string algae through the release of active oxygen. Algae is killed off within a short time; it can then be removed with a net. The remaining algae is decomposed biologically by the included microorganisms. Consequently, ensure that the pond is adequately supplied with oxygen after application.

String algae accumulates with clean, clear water, and good water quality. String algae is not harmful to fish and serves as a habitat for many microscopic creatures. However in hard pond water that contains phosphate, algae growth can get the upper hand and impair the overall appearance of the pond.

Because string algae usually occurs in watercourses and around the edges of the pond, AlGo Direct was specially developed for local and rapid algae control and works on contact.

Thus this type of algae can be specifically eliminated without disturbing the biological balance in the pond and filter. Since the product only works through direct contact with algae, and the active ingredient breaks down into water and oxygen within a short time, it can also be used safely in a swim pond.
